| When did I start coming to Central? | 1970 |
| Why do I come? | I first came because it felt right. I stayed because I became involved in the life of the church. I'm still here because God hasn't told me to leave! |
| Been a deacon since | 2006 |
| Favourite Bible passage | Psalm 121; I learned it at school and have always turned to it for comfort and strength. |
| Favourite song | "Father I place into Your hands" |
| Why? | It helped me to come to terms with the death of a friend and then when my daughter went to work in Romania. The whole song talks of trust in God and ends with the words, "I know I always can trust you." |
| What about home? | I live on the Mansbridge Estate in Swaythling; I moved here in 1972 with my husband and 2 daughters. |
| And work? | I worked as a cook at Paint Pots Pre-school & Nursery in Freemantle between 2003 and my retirement in February 2008. |
| Hobbies | Lots! Cooking / entertaining, gardening, needlework, dancing... Looking after my grandchildren, and reading. |
| Favourite places | My home! And the South coast of Devon. |
